There is a crack, a crack in everything; that’s how the light gets in
--Leonard Cohen
People come to see me for a variety of reasons: They are either sad, afraid and/or angry too much of the time; they have lost a sense of purpose or vitality in their lives; their love relationship seems stale and lonely or too filled with fighting, there is no sex.
People come to me from every walk of life—medicine law, finance, and education. Also, I have worked extensively with artists: writers, actors, sculptors, painters. I am an actor myself and have experience with the particular world of conflicts faced by artists. In addition, I work with couples both gay and straight struggling to revitalize their partnership.
My experience has taught me that there is only one thing worse than the suffering we so often face in modern life, and that is to suffer alone. We have no one we can really talk to, open up with, with the hope of being understood, and as a result come to a greater understanding of ourselves.
Psychotherapy can be an unforgettable journey of discovery, a way to restore meaning, vitality and purpose. I invite those who want to explore the possibilities to meet in a safe place for inner exploration. Psychotherapy provides an opportunity to shed light on darkness. As a result of shedding light, we can more easily see the different elements that cause our suffering. When we see better we are able to make the right changes in our lives for reasons that make sense.
